They halted passing pedestrians, issuing orders to evacuate before closing off the tunnel's access entirely. However, a crowd lingered at a safe distance, some drawn by curiosity, others waiting for the spectacle with eager anticipation. Many had witnessed underwater expansion before and craved the thrill of another.
Duxor stood a step ahead of Arthur, watching as the preparations settled into place. Then, without turning his head, he spoke.
"So this is the famous White Wing?" His voice carried the weight of expectation, yet something in his tone suggested he wasn't impressed just yet.
