Before we start, I would like to announce that even though the MC will get legendaries, the Creation trio,Giratina and Celebi are pokemon he will not get since if he makes a major mistake then he could rewind time or go to a different point in time or go to a different space where he didn't make the mistake or back to when he didn't make the decision essentially making all his actions having no consequence which is never a good thing.
I may add celebi due to it's healing powers, but I will take away it's time traveling properties
He will get them in pretty much the last few chapters, for something which I will not spoil
SuperSonic64:I understand what you are saying, however I'm just saying grass types are viewed as weak due it possibly having one of the most, if not the most amount of weaknesses to other types, and I'm fairly sure there are like 5 types immune to grass, could be wrong tho

Rotom floated out of Marsumoto's phone as he hovered in the air and looked at his master's attempt to communicate with his pokemon, which looked really funny
"So Rotom, looks like all the time I spent on those games weren't worthless"
"Bzztt, I am actually quite surprised by your dedication to those games, you have really wonderful pokemon in them"
"Eh, not a big deal" Matsumoto said as he shrugged "I just wanted to pass some time, considering there was nothing better to do" Matsumoto then continued petting treecko as if he said something casual
Rotom looked at it's master with wide eyes "Not a big deal?" Rotom said with shock,"You not only bred all your pokemon to have perfect IV stats, but they were even shiny and HA, do you realize how rare those are?"
Matsumoto shrugged as he looked at his shiny treecko"It wasn't that much of a hassle,sure it took some time, but it was worth it...I think, I hope"
"Wait, I understand that you can breed pokemon to get them, even though the chances of getting a pokemon with all three characteristics are extremely low but" Rotom actually felt scared to ask this "how did you get the legendaries to have max stats, HA and shiny"
"Oh that?" Matsumoto pondered as he scratched his head and looked thoughtful"Well you can't breed legendaries, so I just saved before encountering one, then I just kept on repeating till I got the perfect legendary"
"...You're kidding right?" Rotom's expression was in disbelief "I... isn't getting a pokemon like that in the wild and not breeding really rare?"
"Well, I didn't always catch them with HA" he then took out his pokeball and tapped it on treecko's head as he turned into a red beam and dissapeared "Some pokemon are better of with their normal abilities than hidden ones"
"My master, my dear master, getting a pokemon even without HA is extremely rare, the number of zeroes it exceeds after the point is more than 32. It is well above a 1 in a quadrillion chance"
"So? Who cares about that? I only care about my pokemon right now" Matsumoto then looked at Rotom's screen "Show me the stats of treecko"
Rotom's screen flickered, as it produced a hologram of treecko with its stats

Matsumoto nodded as he looked at Treecko, he usually put a grass orb on sceptile, so when it reaches 25% HP, Matsumoto uses grassy terrain and the sheer damage dealt is amazing. Of course, he had Giga drain as one move, and an endeavor too incase it got low and a new pokemon was sent out
For sure there are many more strategies for sceptile which are much better, but the only time Matsumoto actually played with sceptile was when he did random 1v1 battles where you were given 6 random pokemon, since he always preferred to use shaymin or Venusaur as grass types
Matsumoto then stretched his arms as he got up and started walking to his computer
"Bzzztt, what are you doing?"
"Gonna Google up some things".Matsumoto read fanfics where the Isekai character just comes in a new world, doesn't learn Jackshit about it, and struggles against very easy to eliminate enemies
From what Rotom said, this world has pokemon trainers too, they are rare and only have one pokemon, but they exist nonetheless
Matsumoto booted up his computer, as he typed in the very first thing that came to his mind, and clicked ENTER
The hero rankings. There is no way the rankings are the same this time considering pokemon are added to the mix. And he was correct
On No.1 was Allmight without any pokemon which really surprised Matsumoto as he read the no.2 hero
On No.2 was a character who didn't exist before,
Seishin, whose name translated to "spirit" is actually quirkless but he owns a LVL 70 Gengar
The more he looked at their pokemon and moves, the more frustrated he got. The agency tried to cover up all the abilities their pokemon have but it will be exposed to the public anyways, for now, only some moves are known to the public
The top ten hero rankings were pretty much the same after, just with their pokemon. Now you may be asking, Seishin has a Gengar, so how could he not beat Allmight?
Well, the dumbass didn't add a psychic move to his Gengar. Matter of fact, this guy doesn't even know how to handle a pokemin properly, he has been spotted using dream eater but his Gengar doesn't even have an ability to make it's enemy go to sleep
From this, Matsumoto assumed that even humans have types. Since Allmight was quirkless before he would be normal type, but when he got OFA, his typing probably changed to Normal/Fighting
So how did AllMight win against Gengar who is immune to normal and fighting moves? Well AllMight just launches a concentrated blast of air and since that counts as flying type, it can hurt Gengar
Infact, this is common throughout the world. Most people believe a pokemon only knowing moves from it's type is stronger than pokemon knowing moves from other types, which is stupid, like really?
However, there is one major addition to the ranking system
There is a group above the no.1 hero called the "elite four" whose leader is the fifth and strongest member, the champion. Looks like it inherited more of pokemon than I thought
There is a problem however, all the elite four are way too strong, so no one has been able to defeat them to get the title of the champion, and the elite four are closely tied in power, so they can't choose a champion from amongst themselves either
Why am I explaining the elite four to you guys? You probably know about it better than me anyways
To get into the elite four, you need to defeat the no.1 hero in a duel with your pokemon, and defeat an already existing member of the elite four, since there can only be four
The thing is, all their identities and other information is confidential, hidden by the government and so I have no idea how to get it....wait can't I just ask Rotom
"Bzzztttt, if I tell you, you'll prepare for them with strategies and that will be too easy for you, so not telling"
Matsumoto raised an eyebrow at that(vine boom)"Well, I can't really do anything knowing about them with my lvl 1 treecko anyways".Matsumoto then stretched his arms as he played with his pokeball "besides" he added "they all have only one pokemon anyways, while I can have six, I'll be fine till I get there"
Matsumoto then got to typing "Though, it's best I don't be overconfident"
Now, while Matsumoto knows about the hero rankings, there's no other knowledge that he has about the world, so where is he going to get that from?
That's simple, scam websites!
Have you ever gone to a website, like, how to score better in baseball, and websites tell the most obvious of things like "swing harder" or "purchase a good bat to get started" which a 10 year old should know by the age of 8?
Well those obvious things are gonna be really helpful this time
"Let's see" Matsumoto said as he scrolled down the "top 20 tips to help you become the champion" list
Matsumoto nodded as he read the tips
In this world, everyone gets a random pokemon at the age of 10 at school, well I the pokemon accept you of course, it's pretty rare for having a pokemon accept you. However, corruption still exists. Rich families or high ranking heroes can get a "high grade" pokemon that directly suits their quirk
Think of it like this, you have a fire quirk, but you get a grass pokemon. Now that will actually hinder you and ultimately you have to choose if you want to train your quirks or your pokemon since you can't combine these two types, which you can by the way, it's just the people of this world are dumb
Now, say Endeawhore wanted to get Shoto a pokemon, whose quirk is HHHC, he would either get an ice type pokemon or a fire type pokemon for him through connections which will help him, you know, like real life corruption
First of all, there is no "high grade" pokemon, every pokemon is amazing if played right and second of all, stupid connections, I hate you, but only when other people use it against me, if I use it it's OK
Also, the reason why Pokémon trainers are rare, is that even if you have an affinity for pokemon, it's way too costly to raise on, I mean, pokeblock kits cost around 260,000 yen which is $2000, and that's just the kit
You have to take lessons to learn how to make pokeblocks which is around 20000 yen per hour, and then you also have to buy pokemon berries which are around 50000 yen, and that's for the berries that suck too
Because of this, most families give up trying to get a pokemon and are forced to train their quirks instead, truly, only the rich hold power in this world, which is fine By me since it doesn't really matter to me with my shop
Speaking of shop, Matsumoto looked at his system again. The shop also has a category of free items. These include basic pokeballs and the move forgotten, or deleted, I forgot what it was called
I guess it makes sense to have these for free, would be pretty hard to catch pokemon without pokeballs, and pokemon would starve to death without pokeblocks
"Though I don't get it" Matsumoto turned to Rotom "Pokémon already exist in the wild here, why dungeons?"
"Bzztt, have you never played Pokemon dungeon games?"
"I haven't " Matsumoto said with some embarrassment. Admittedly, he did not enjoy playing every single pokemon game
Especially those games from the ads in scam website. He's still recovering from seeing what a bidoof can do in "certain activities"
"No way you haven't?" Rotom said, in a tone which made Matsumoto look like he was an idiot "Don't you know all those special drops you get?"
"Literally no, i just said it"
"Bzztt, you'll find then out eventually, it's also the only way to earn pokecoins"
"I know, you already told me when I was having an existential crisis 10 minutes ago" "Bzztt, mood" "Shut, I still find it dumb I have to risk my life in dungeons to get pokecoins but whatever"
"Well the items and pokecoins are a good reason, but it's mainly to protect you"
"Protect me?" Matsumoto said as he looked at Rotom in confusion and fear "are the pokemon in dungeons less dangerous than the wild or something?"
"No, they're both equally dangerous" Rotom said "It's not the pokemon I'm protecting you from, it's the people"
"Ahh" Matsumoto said in realization "like the authorities"
"Especially the authorities, as you read, it is illegal and dangerous to battle pokemon in the wild, so the government has made specialized training zones called "Routes" where you can safely train them, and if you're good at pokemon training they provide you with aid, but we both know what they really mean"
"Mm, pokemon are expensive to maintain and if the government provides you with aid, they ensure your loyalty to them, and they can even spy on you"
"Ultimately, your pokemon decides what you become, either a hero saving people in daylight like All Might, or assassins doing the dirty work of the association like Lady Nagant"
Rotom then floated over to Matsumoto "Imagine what they will do, once they find you bringing dozens of pokemon to train, they either try brainwash you, or they get rid of you before you grow up"
Now, there's a problem. Matsumoto turned to Rotom as he placed two hands together and put his chin on it "How am I supposed to get a pokemon, when I am home schooled"
Rotom dissapeared in a flash of lightning, as he re-appeared Slamming some documents on the table."Right" Matsumoto said rubbing his forehead "I got God's help". Matsumoto then froze as he realized something
"Wait, don't I technically have the power of God and anime on my side?"
"Bzztt, are you going to read them?"
Matsumoto shook his head "Probably has a lot of words I won't understand anyways, no point in reading them anyways"
"Araa~, that's a wrong attitude to have Matsumoto-Chan"
A slender hand slid across Matsumoto's neck as a voice whispered in his ears. Matsumoto, immediately jumped from his couch as he released treecko to see the trespasser was, and was surprised to find....a ditto?
"Yo, I'm a ditto sent by God to help you"
"....help me?" Wow Matsumoto was not very surprised, which I'd a bit concerning

The ditto nodded as it hopped on Matsumoto's shoulder, causing him to shiver as ditto's body drooped on his shirt, which was disgusting
"Matsumoto-Chan, I assume you don't want to go to school right?"
Matsumoto nodded as he looked at ditto. By now, very little could confuse him, infact, the confuse Ray might be the only way to confuse him now
"Well Matsumoto-Chan, UA has high standards, and that includes it's written portion too" Ditto then hopped off as it signaled Rotom, who possessed a printer and printed it yet another piece of paper
Matsumoto grabbed it and read it "It's a routine...and a list of competitions?"
"Correct Matsumoto-Chan, UA is a very hard place to get in studywise as well, since you are home-schooled, you may be outright rejected". Now that was a shock to Matsumoto, not even given a chance?
"Unless, you prove yourself" Ditto motioned to the paper in Matsumoto's hand "If you participate in these, you will get more than enough credit to apply for UA"
Matsumoto looked at the list in his hands "All of these are national level competitions" he read it s bit more "Very hard, national level competitions" he then looked at Ditto "Do I even need to compete in these many events?"
"Nope! But you will do it anyways" Matsumoto then put down the lost as he picked up his schedule, it had the basic stuff, time to wake up, time to brush, to study- wait a minute
"I ONLY HAVE ONE HOUR FOR DUNGEONS?"
"Don't worry, the time flow in dungeons is 1:3, so an hour in this world is 3 hours in there"
"Oh" Matsumoto said as he nodded "That's still not enough time, I'll still be mentally tired"
"You'll just have to adapt" Ditto said as it looked at Matsumoto "Besides, you only have to follow this till you become 15"
"And that's not the only thing you'll be practicing, you have to learn how to give interviews too"
"UA doesn't take interviews?"
"They do if you are in the recommendation exam, but yes, you won't be giving any interviews for UA, but the organizers of the competitions will take interviews from you"
Ditto's body then began transforming as it took the shape of a big burly man easily above 7 foot, not that it was rare in this world, he had a scar across his face, and his eyebrows were carved into a permanent scowl. He gave off a frightening pressure that promised you will get morbed(morbius) if you disappoint him
"EITHER THEY'LL BE EXTREMELY FRIGHTENING" Ditto said in a voice that nearly gave Matsumoto a heart attack "AND WILL SCARE YOU TO DEATH"
Then Ditto transformed into a man with a normal 5'9 height, he had sharp eyes and thing eyebrows. He had long slender fingers that could easily choke a person to death and the fakest smile Matsumoto had ever seen and had no emotion in his eyes
"Or they'll be extremely calm, showing no emotion whatsoever" Ditto said calm "They'll be so calm, it will be unnerving for you"
"So I won't be able to eat berries?"
Ditto then last transformed into the thiccest woman Matsumoto had ever seen, I mean seriously those were some huge boobs i mean some serious honkers, a real set of badonkers, packin' some dobohonkeros
"Orrr~~" Ditto said in a sultry voice "They'll be extremely sultry, which will be awful for your teenage mind"
'Calm down' Matsumoto thought, 'It's a ditto'
"If you want, I can help you with your sexual frustrations or fantasies when you hit your teenage years as well" She then leaned to Matsumoto's ears and said in a whisper "I am made for breeding after all~"
Ditto then chuckled as it transformed back, leaving a slightly disturbed Matsumoto
"I will interview you with the first two for now, and the female one for when you hit puberty" Ditto hopped off as a portal appeared out of no here "We will begin after a week, take care"
Ditto then disappeared along with the portal leaving a blank faced Matsumoto and a treecko sitting on his shoulder
"Rotom" Matsumoto said as he turned towards Rotom "What is the time for my part-time job?"
"It's Sunday today bzztt"
"Good, I could really go for some dungeons right now"
