Chapter 9 - Undefeatable 2

Viole unleashed a barrage of devastating punches, each strike propelled by a raw, unbridled power. Stark attempted to evade, his reflexes pushed to their limits, but Viole's speed was overwhelming. A fierce blow connected with Stark's stomach, sending him hurtling through the air. Mid-flight, as Stark struggled to regain his composure, Viole materialized behind him, his eyes gleaming with a terrifying intensity. In one swift motion, he seized Stark by the back of his head, intent on eradicating the remnants of time from his body.

Yet, Stark conjured a sword within his hand, lunging in a desperate attempt to impale Viole. But Viole, ever agile, effortlessly dodged the attack. In response, Viole manifested his own sword, engaging Stark in a lethal dance of blades. The clash of metal reverberated through the air as Viole and Stark exchanged strikes with unmatched ferocity. Seizing the opportunity, Viole unleashed an attack from his other hand, a devastating ability that spawned a colossal white explosion. The blast engulfed Stark, throwing him to the ground. Yet, against all odds, Stark rose, standing defiantly despite his injuries.

"What a tenacious adversary you are. But you face the both of us—a clear advantage. Isn't that right, Tony?" Viole stated confidently.

Emerging from the sand, Tony approached Stark, determination etched upon his face. "Absolutely," he responded resolutely.

"It seems our feigned alliance has borne fruit. This is the end, Defender Stark," Viole declared, his voice brimming with conviction.

Viole grasped Stark by his face, preparing to eradicate the lingering traces of time. Tony released his hold on Stark, believing victory to be at hand.

"I could use a shower once we're done here," Tony remarked casually.

Suddenly, Stark jolted back to life, plunging his blade into Tony's back, piercing through his right side. Viole stood frozen, his shock palpable. Stark seized the opportunity, thrusting his sword into Viole's stomach before swiftly retreating. He left Viole crumpled on the sand, blood gushing from his wounds, alongside Tony.

"What? What does this mean? But we... How?!" Viole stammered, his disbelief evident.

Viole's gaze shifted towards Tony, his eyes filled with a mixture of sorrow and determination.

"Tony... Is he dead? Unacceptable!" Viole's voice shook with rage.

In an instant, Viole snapped back to consciousness, obliterating Stark's heart with a single swift movement. Stark fell lifelessly, and time rewound to the beginning of the battle. Silence settled over the battlefield, heavy with the weight of their precarious situation.

"What can we do now? Shall we dance with him until he delivers the killing blow? I'm growing tired of this. My sanity is slipping away," Tony lamented.

"We'll fight him until inspiration strikes. And you need not worry about sanity anymore, for I have already lost mine," Viole responded resolutely.

"Go, Tony! Unleash your full might. I shall analyze every move he makes."

Tony and Stark engaged in a frenzied skirmish, their blows exchanging with lightning speed. Tony moved with newfound swiftness and a hardened resolve.

"Now, how can we defeat him? I cannot simply whisk him away to the fifth dimension; he would only sow more chaos. It seems you have truly surprised me, Catlin," Viole mused, contemplating the ever-evolving battle.
