Day Ninety-Eight…
Everyone rejoiced when Jane finally regained consciousness. Old Man Xu rewarded the nurses and the doctors who took care of Ethan, Nathan, and Jane in their coma state.
They were supposed to have a celebration, however, Nathan requested to be with Jane and Ethan alone. The party was moved to tomorrow night.
Nathan brought Jane and Ethan home. Though they were still waiting for her examination results, he insisted that Jane still needed to recuperate at home.
"How do you feel now?" Nathan asked Jane who was lying next to him. Her head rested on his arm.
Jane smiled as she turned to her side, staring at Nathan's handsome face.
"I'm fine. However, I feel like I've been trapped in a long dream. Unfortunately, I can't even remember what my dream is all about the moment I wake up."
'She has forgotten about the soul swap and her one-hundred-day mission like what she wrote in her journal.' Nathan thought to himself, pulling Jane's body closer to him.
