Vincent wanted to have a fresh start together with Mia. She was the only precious thing left in his life.
"Do you want to take Mia with you?" Jane asked him.
Vincent kept looking at the ground as he responded, "Yes. I will take her with me. She is my biological daughter. She is my only redemption."
"I have grown fond of Mia. You used her to deceive us. Since Ethan is my son, there is no way she is my daughter. However… just thinking about not seeing her… I can't help but be saddened about this. I really love her like my own daughter. Tell me, Vincent. Who is Mia's biological mother? Is it Monica or Helena?" Jane couldn't stop herself from wanting to hear the truth. She just hoped that Mia would be happy.
In this current timeline, Jane doesn't know that Mia is her biological daughter. Her last memory of Vincent's revelation regarding how Mia was conceived wasn't recorded in her journal. Jane had forgotten about it after returning to the current timeline.
