"Isn't today a holiday?" Ember wondered aloud. She noticed that there was an unusually large crowd on campus, and it seemed to consist entirely of girls. "Why are there so many girls in the college today?" she asked Emir, leaning closer to him.
Emir leaned in and whispered, "Stay inside for a while."
"Okay," Ember replied, her curiosity piqued.
As Emir guided her out of the crowd, they heard a chorus of voices shouting, "Dylan, Dylan, Dylan… we love you!" The crowd was overwhelming, and Emir extended his hand to Ember, saying, "Don't let go of my hand."
The throng was massive, and they were surrounded by a phalanx of bodyguards. As they navigated through the crowd, Ember heard some of the girls cheering, "We love you! He's so cute! Look at the girl next to him."
When they reached the center of the crowd, Emir took the microphone and announced, "I love you guys, and thank you for your support." He glanced at Ember and added with a smile, "Please give her some space; my girlfriend isn't used to crowds."
Ember blushed at his words, thinking, "Oh, what is he saying in front of all these girls?"
Emir leaned in and whispered in her ear, "You're blushing."
"No, I'm not," Ember protested, feeling embarrassed.
"Yes, you are," he teased.
"Let's go," she said, eager to change the subject.
As they took a few steps forward, a voice from the crowd asked, "Is she your real girlfriend?"
Emir replied with a smile, "Yes, she is! And I want to make one thing clear—don't bully her or make her uncomfortable. I won't let you off the hook."
Ember looked at Emir, noticing that his eyes were fixed on some girls. She realized they were the same girls she had encountered in the restroom earlier.
"Now, let's continue," Emir said, waving goodbye to the crowd as they finally made their way out.
