Cain and the Sky Sovereign conversed in hushed tones, and from the shifting expression on the ancient phantom's face, it was clear that Cain's latest plan was truly astonishing. Of course, it was impossible to know whether the reaction of the Sky Sovereign was due to the idea being brilliance beyond imagination or bad shit insane.
At first, the Sky Sovereign resisted the idea, shaking his head at the sheer audacity. Yet, upon witnessing the unyielding determination and cold resolve in Cain's eyes, he found himself compelled to relent.
"Very well," the Sky Sovereign finally said, "but we should treat that as an ultimate trump card. If fortune is on our side, we might never need to use it."
Cain nodded, recognizing the man's reluctance. "I'm not eager to use it myself," he admitted. The risk was astronomical—there was a high probability he would lose his life even if that plan were executed to perfection. Even so, circumstances demanded that he keep every possible option open.
