Early morning when Ting was about to leave the owner came to bid goodbye telling him to come and meet her whenever he is in the capital and to inform her if he got any trouble or problem in the capital or in the academy,
she then gave him a bag of gold for his journey and a small sack of bag asking him to keep it with him all the time and bid farewell to be safe and also to write a letter to her,
Ting then bow and thank her for everything she had done for her and telling her that he will become stronger and help her when she need it, and went on his way by bow in front of the gate of capital.
As he was walking further towards the North he realised that the tree has become denser and was actually getting the feeling of familiar with his village and as he moved further he came to see ranges with beautiful scenery also coming to realise that in that monsters couldn't be traced anywhere and after a long two days journey he saw that ranges were becoming taller and taller as he climbed over it as move further to the North,
finally he was at the foothills of the Shangsheng and there he saw a poor old man sitting alone where people didn't bother to even look at it, but he offer the old man a food and water and also giving him a gold coin,
which is known to be of high value academy and people who are there thought Ting was mad for giving gold coin like it's nothing and some thought must be a rich kid who just like to show off his wealth.
The old man thanked him and asked how can he repaid him, but Ting replied he doesn't need to and that he was just doing what he ought to do and is nothing, but the old man insisted on giving something in return so he gave Ting a small look like pin,
telling him that it's a small token of appreciation and so Ting thank him and put it in his sleeve and went on his way to the academy.
