The head then came out and announced that this year the top 4 will represent Shangsheng in the competition held by the kingdom for representing in ' Pancha skiros '.
Everyone was excited and was more enthusiastic than ever about representing the kingdom, except Ting.
he then asked his master about ' Pancha skiros' but Cixi didn't answer instead, she told him to focus on today's competition.
Then an elder who is going to foresee the competition started explaining the rules(it's a one vs one match, the matchmaking will be in the lottery, no killing, the match will go on until one person is knock out or surrender and no one can interrupted the match).
'The battles start'
As expected all the three disciples of elders advance easily and now it's the turn of Ting and everyone was with their eyes open upon that his opponent was strong, so everyone expect him to lose easily but when the match begin it was opposite upon that he knockdown his opponent in one strike, which surprise everyone with his strength and even talk about how strong the swordplay Rew is.
As it progresses it was finally down to eight person and when the lottery was drawn Ting opponent was a senior who is considered to be one, who is seal for the place in top 4.
The first match was Ting so when he enter the arena, his senior mocked him of being lucky and being weak but it didn't faze a little bit to Ting which make his opponent angrier, as it start Ting uses Rew first level but was seems to be getting blocked, as he has not fully comprehend it and as Cixi was getting worried about it, Ting uses second level and defeat his opponent, which came as surprise to everyone even to his master and Ting place was seal in top 4 and the crowd congratulate with pop.
Then his master asked him why he didn't tell her that he has learn the second level, he said that he doesn't want to use it and he had learned it just in case something were to happened.
when the top 4 was already decided and was into drawing his master told him that the other three are disciples of second, third and fourth elder, then Ting asked about the first elder, maybe he doesn't have disciples like his master before him,
Are you calling me loner, said Cixi.
Ting said, no but maybe he too doesn't want to have the hassle of having disciples like her.
Cixi told him that the first elder student is all outside, traveling and he should consider himself lucky as all the first elder student was all strong and can defeat if he uses Rew only.
Then Ting was drawn with third elder student and the other between second and fourth elder student.
