Deille turned away from Aurianna, looking up at the ceiling of the hall which shone with gold. Cool air slipped through the open window, washing over him. Between the beautiful hall and the air he felt calmed as he tried recalling something he hadn't thought about in years.
A memory flashed in his mind seeing a sickly boy with dark green eyes and black hair. His handsome looks deteriorated due to his sickly and skinny body. The boy coughed up some blood as his eyes looked almost hollow. A trace of life could barely be found in them.
"Don't worry brother, I'll become a priest and definitely heal you!" A younger looking Deille claimed with a serious face, holding Girsal's hand tightly.
"Just shut up and leave you brat! I don't need your pity!" Girsal yelled, smacking Deille's hand from his.
The memory faded as soon as it appeared.
Deille turned to Aurianna, who was looking at him expectantly. He responded calmly, "He used to be an old acquaintance."
