The car window slowly lowered, and a handgun came into view first, "LAPD! Put your hands where I can see them."
"Hey, don't shoot, I'm a journalist, I just wanted to do an interview." Pari was startled and quickly explained, but when she saw the man holding the gun, she was surprised,
"Marcus, what are you doing here? Are you with the LAPD?"
"Pari!" Marcus recognized her too, "Why are you here?"
"I'm a journalist, I heard about a carjacking robbery nearby, I'm here to do an interview.
Oh my gosh, you're actually with the LAPD, and you never told me that at the bar."
"You never said you were a journalist either, we're even." Boel got out of the car and said to Pari, "Put your hands on your head, I need to conduct a routine search on you."
"You can't be serious?"
