The arrogance dripped from Vakil's face, along with confidence that he could take the current Wajih who had been weakened due to his battle. Which was partially correct. Though more than that, my focus was on something else, I saw his men moving about, not toward Wajih, but the corpses, obviously targetting it for harvest.
It was understandable, but for now, they had maintained their distance, waiting for the fight to break out. This did happen not too long considering how hard it was for Wajih to suppress his anger against such an arrogant little bodyguard of his enemy.
