Fan Yushu surveyed the Confucian scholars and horse-drawn carriages that had traveled great distances to deliver books here.
"However, these books need to be checked before they can be classified and stored in the book tower, and there are too many books. Before this, they were all stacked on the sides of these uphill corridors, so these corridors are especially winding and lengthy in order to place the books. Still, the workload remains too large, especially now, as they bring books here in autumn. Consequently, some teachers and students come here in their free time to help the book tower, reviewing ancient books, which is also an encouraged behavior by the Academy."
