She paused for a moment, her fingers gently touching the skin under her eyes, "…Just look at those dark circles under your eyes, Emma, I can assure you, Walter wants to marry you, not a panda!"
That remark finally made Emma laugh. She felt under her eyes and moved closer to the window, looking at her reflection in the glass she asked, "Are the dark circles really that bad?!"
"Very serious, very serious. You might not notice…" Tara's gaze was sly. In truth, Emma's dark circles weren't severe, just a faint shadow of blue. She was merely trying to scare her a little, to stop her from worrying during the day and losing sleep at night.
"Really?" Emma almost pressed her entire face against the glass, twisting her neck, looking left and right, unable to see any serious dark circles, her brows knitted even tighter.
Tara was suppressing a laugh on the side, but as soon as Emma turned her head toward her, she immediately put on a serious face, staring intently at Emma's eyes.
