On his 20th birthday, Asher's mother confessed something he never expected. After the truth was revealed, she died giving her last blessing to him. That's when Asher found himself all alone, confused about his own identity and worrying about his future.

Karl pushed a plate that had a piece of cake on it toward Asher as they sat around the table, while saying with a smile that made both Felix and Lucas roll their eyes.


'So nice...and it's weird. He always annoys us but is very nice to Asher...'


Lucas and Felix thought to themselves but did not bother him as they felt like he is genuinely happy at the moment. No matter how much he was annoying them, they still needed him to be happy too.


Lucas bumped shoulders with Karl and cleared his throat once he focused back on his own plate from Asher.


Karl turned to Lucas and smiled which..obviously was...the familiar annoying grin again.


Lucas said and got the plate, then eating the sweet pie silently after disturbing Karl. Karl just chuckled and served himself after telling Felix to make himself comfortable too.
