After waking up, Asher went to the kitchen, thinking to prepare breakfast but was met with Lucas who was already in the kitchen,cooking.
"Yeah. I hope you slept well too. The baby was with you last night, right? Did she fuss?"
Asher asked with a guilty expression, a disappointment hugging him.
"She slept very well. So don't worry. And, please don't give that face. Can't you see? I am very much excited to spend time with the baby."
"I am sorry. I don't know how I can ever pay back your kindness."
"No need to pay it off. You made Felix's life bright. I was with him since we were children. So I obviously can tell why he has changed into better and happier. It was all after you two started your relationship."
