In the center of the square, a black jade platform stood tall, upon which an emaciated, purple-robed, white-haired elderly Daoist sat. The Daoist held a dragon head wooden stick, preaching to the people below.

"You common folks, have endured drought for three years due to not heeding the will of the heavens, and must now offer sincerity from all directions..."
