It's pitch black outside the door, but you can make out a corridor.
Zheng Yu Huang crouched on the ground, craning his neck to peer outside.
"If this is a hospital, there should be motion-activated lights, right?"
Zheng Yu Huang said, clapping his hands forcefully.
Clap! Clap!
The lights down this stretch of the corridor flickered on. Due to being energy-saving bulbs, the light was dim, but sufficient for illumination.
"It's so quiet here!"
Tang Keke muttered.
The corridor floor was concrete, likely built over a decade ago. Some areas had bumps and potholes. The walls on both sides were painted green up to about one meter high, with the upper portion covered in white plaster—most of which had begun to peel off.
An overwhelming sense of old hospital decay hit them.
Lin Baici glanced around. There were other rooms along the corridor, all seemingly locked. Both ends of the corridor led to doors, shut tight, leading to unknown places.
"Let's go out and look for clues!"
