"The rules of my trial are quite simple," Vulserion announces, reapparing in front of Ray's section, floating calmly, "All you have to do is convince me."
"What?" Ray looks at Vulserion, confused.
"You seem to be quite set on bringing Waydel's child back from the dead, dedicated enough to stand against the Primus, and went as far as to fight one," Vulserion explains, "So you should have more than enough resolve to explain to me why it should be allowed. This conversation will remain between us two, but if I am to allow you to break a rule we have upheld for as long as we've been here, I need to know why."
'Hm... A trial like that could be too vague and gives him the power to just decide Kaine loses...' Daphne thinks, "You will have to change-"
"I accept," Ray interrupts.
"Kaine, you are aware that this trial puts the absolute power to decide in Vulserion's hands, right?" Daphne questions with a pointed tone.
"I am," Ray nods, "And I accept."
