" Round 2 " Zillah announced
Aeron threw the disk in the air. They weren't as tall so they waited till it was half way and before keva could jump and grab it, Daivik snatched it from her.
He drifted speedily to the finish line, Zillah competed till she caught up to him, she tackled him from behind when he lost his balance causing the disk to flip in the air, Cristal grabbed it unbeknownst to her Aeron was about to grab it too and he crashed on her.
He flipped her over and he brushed the ground hardly after a few turns. He landed on top of her with heavy breaths coming from him. " Get off me!" Cristal reacted immediately, there was no hesitation in her actions.
When she pushed him over, she threw the disk to Zillah, looking at Aeron who was confused, lost in his eyes when he looked at her. Alvah ran towards Zillah and she knew he would catch up to her but she began running with keva running up ahead already.
She threw it to keva with no interception keva caught it and got to the finish line almost immediately.
" Point". She raised her finger. " I don't think there's a need for a round three is there?" Keva asked the boys looking at them.
" I mean it's predictable enough ". She smirked and Zillah grinned back. Walking over to Cristal to get her up.
" That was a serious accident between you two, are you okay?" Zillah asked her giving her a hand. " Yeah I'm fine". She dusted herself getting up.
" Aeron are you…?" Before zillah could ask him if he was okay, he lifted his hands in the air to stop her.
" Round 2?" Cristal asked looking at him with a smirk. He looked at her and replied back with a grin "round 2"
" Hey you both know this is a coupling game right?" Zillah asked abashed by what was happening.
They both had a shocked expression glued to their faces and she laughed. Alvah walked closer to Zillah from behind and hugged her. " I don't feel Soo good" he whispered but she couldn't hear him.
" What did you say?" She asked turning around to face him. " Let's begin the next round". His voice was delicate and she knew he wasn't feeling okay but still participated. " Did you have something to eat earlier?" She asked him concern in her eyes holding his face in her palm
" I'm not hungry" he said and walked away like she doesn't understand him.
In a few minutes, the place was set and they were standing next to a bunch of arrows and a target.
" Only the center dot counts". She said to them. " Seriously" Alvah said laughing softly and she nodded.
Alvah picked up the bow and an arrow and shot right at the dot and it pierced. She applauded him softly but the others felt jealous that he was applauded meanwhile it was easy.
Aeron took the bow, picked up an arrow and shot at his own target and it pierced. Same with Daivik. The girls stood back and watched while they shot for 5 rounds with no loser.
They moved on to the next game. Three truths about your partner.
" But Aeron is not my partner" Cristal said to Zillah close to her ears. " He doesn't have to" she rubbed her shoulders.
" three correct is three points added. Only one partner should answer". She said clearly.
Aeron decided to take the lead. " Three truths about Cristal" he began " I know she is 5'6 but she tells everyone she's 5'7 ".
Everyone laughed at his words and she covered her face a bit embarrassed. " That's correct " she admitted.
" she prefers snacks but she suggests fruits to others so they think she eats healthy too".
" Oh my goodness Aeron !" She exclaimed punching him in the arm and he chuckled lightly.
" Aeron you know too much" keva said and he looked at her then looked back at Cristal.
" Third truth is that she has a crush on her closest friend ".
Silence erupted for a good amount of time. " Zillah I like this game" he looked above his shoulder behind him, looking right back at Cristal. " That's true?" He asked her for confirmation but she smirked instead and that took him off guard.
" Who do you think she has a crush on?" Zillah asked Aeron like she wasn't aware to know if he knew that he was the one cristal was crushing on.
" I only guessed right Zillah, cristal why don't you tell us? " He reversed on her.
Keva who was dumbfounded about the entire situation asked her. " Cristal you have a crush on a friend?"
Keva was the first person Cristal had wanted to tell about this but it wasn't possible and now everything seems to be blowing up in her face.
" Yeah I have a crush on a friend". She agreed to it but the look on Aeron's face was that of mix-up. He only assumed that she did have a crush but who was it on. Was it really him, no way, if Cristal blurted her confession here what would he do, he had thought that she would deny it but she didn't.
" Three truths, game over" Aeron seized the tension with breaks of sweat on his face. " Nooo, Cristal was about to tell us about her crush " keva had a down expression as she was curious.
" Sorry next time". He didn't sound pitiful but rather happy that the game wasn't ruined because of him. He looked at Cristal who already had eyes on him. They stared at each other for a while when she broke that eye contact walking over to Zillah.
" He knew the entire time Zillah, HE DID".
" Lower your voice Cristal he is watching you". Zillah held her turning her around away from him.
" Zillah knew" Aeron murmured to himself with a creased brow.
Alvah got a glimpse of how messy the situation was and didn't mind to make it worse. " Zillah let's go next".
Zillah turned around to look at him. " Okay". " I'll take the lead" he offered and she wasn't skeptical.
" Zillah doesn't love me".
" Not true!" She was quick to deny it with her brows furrowed at him.
He lifted up his finger looking at it then back at her" Second truth is, Zillah doesn't love me" he repeated the first truth. And she immediately frowned at him. Daivik and Aeron knew exactly what was going on so they giggled.
Zillah would either have to clarify and say she loves Alvah or like he told them earlier, she would never reply to him.
" That's not true Alvah, you know that is not true". Her voice hardened.
" Third truth…" he had prolonged a bit patiently waiting for her to say she did love him but she didn't say anything meanwhile she waited for the third truth.
