Yin Meng conducts Sound Master level assessments every year, which are open to both members and non-members; anyone can register as long as they pay the registration fee.
For the initial assessment, Yin Meng will take various factors into consideration for judgment and then categorize the levels accordingly; whatever level one is classified into, that is the corresponding level of Sound Master one becomes.
Afterward, if one wishes to level up, they can be reassessed the following year.
After passing the Yin Meng assessment, Yin Meng will issue a Sound Master Certificate for the corresponding level.
Sound Masters certified by Yin Meng are extremely authoritative; almost all those in Xia Country learning music attempt the assessment.
Of course, it's not mandatory.
