The kingdom of Albion was unlike that of other kingdoms. Other Kingdoms might have several key cities with other smaller settlements scattered about the territory. Albion, however, only had three--three key settlements that housed the entire population of the kingdom. They were the Capital or Xala, the city of Xana, and the city of Xara. These three cities where referred to as the three jewels of the desert.
The capital of Xala was built among the left over ruins of the old civilization. It sat atop a rock plateau that had become buried by the sand with the passing of time. While the rock foundation itself was no longer visible, it still made up the ground below the residents feet.
