"Hello, Mauve."
Mauve heard a familiar voice and she slowly raised her head. "Jean, what are you doing here?"
Rosa frowned looking up at Mauve, "You know my uncle?" She asked.
"He is your uncle?"
"Yes," Rosa responded.
She looked from Rosa to Jean. She couldn't really see the resemblance but there was no reason why they would lie.
"How are you, princess? It is good to see you again. I can see you're much better."
Rosa and the guests seemed to be the only ones surprised that Mauve knew Jean, her parents seemed unfazed.
"I am, thank you so much. I am glad you got back safely, I was really worried."
"I did. How's the wound?"
Mauve shrugged, "Completely healed. Aside from the scars, I can barely remember the injury."
She felt Galath stiffen at her words but he didn't say anything. However, she was sure he was still shaken from seeing the scars.
"I am glad. I left in such a hurry that if there had been complications I wouldn't have been able to go back in time."
