Mauve's eyes widened a little as she saw her reflection. Was it the dim light in the room that gave her such an exotic appearance?
Her hair was down but it was all gathered to the side, thanks to Jael. However, she couldn't deny that it didn't give her an allure.
The necklace on her neck, though small, stood out more than she expected. The light couldn't properly reflect how beautiful the jewelry was but it didn't dampen it.
She instinctively grabbed onto it as she turned her neck to the side. It was beautiful and the matching small earrings went very well with the neckpiece.
"It's beautiful," she said.
"You're beautiful," he whispered.
"Jael," she chuckled.
He spun her, "Do you think I don't mean what I say?" He asked, his eyes scanning her face.
Mauve froze, her brain was having a hard time forming words. How was she supposed to think when his hands around her waist were burning a hole through them?
