"Now." Morpheus began breaking the tense silence in the room, "I realize you have many questions and want answers as fast as possible but, I can only provide so much. What you saw before was only the beginning, they will come in mass to try and destroy the anchors. Right now their strongest resources are still unable to escape the veil, we must fortify."
"We agree, but you must understand the position they are in. No we are in, Morpheus when I hired you to work in Hogwarts I knew I was taking a risk but, this? It is insanity you are forcing a war." Albus said sadly shaking his head
Morpheus snorted, "Forcing? You are a fool of you even believed for a second they would have co-existed with us. They destroyed their own realms and now want ours."
Tenzin nodded, "I have a question about that, how did they 'destroy' their own realms? What can we do to prevent magic from drying up here on earth."
"There is a multitude of reasons why their realms of dying, I wont get into all of them but the main reason is their hubris grew to great. As you know modern technology and magic don't react well together, they thought the answer was to force the process. In doing so they were taking magic out of the natural cycle slowly dwindling their realms resources before their very eyes." Morpheus said shaking his head in frustration, "They have mutilated their realms magic all on their own and yet blame it on humanity, blame it on me."
The Russian representative looked pensive, "We have researched this extensively as I'm sure your respective nations have as well." he said looking at the others in the room, "Should we stop?"
A contemplative look crossed Morpheus's face, "It truly depends on the research, what they were doing was forcing the process and keeping the magic locked. They were decades ahead of us in technological advancements and still couldn't find another way, your researches are most likely on a fruitless journey."
Tenzin nodded before turning to the group, "We should all keep our eyes close to these developments lest anything get out of control."
He then looked back down to the map, "Now which one should we prioritize defending?"
"All of them of course. The pyramid is less defended than the others though just through the natural terrain around the anchor."
Tenzin nodded before plopping back into his seat, "Very well, lets come up with a proposal to bring the summit, everyone will be watching and waiting for our plan."
"Yes everyone including our enemies."

A week had passed since the meeting, and the world had shifted into motion. Across the globe, witches and wizards worked tirelessly, reinforcing the defenses of the Anchor Points.
The desert around the ancient structure was no longer empty. Where once only the Sage's Eye and a few ICW enforcers had held the line, now a full-fledged war camp had risen. Rows of white tents stretched across the dunes, flapping in the wind, while teams of witches and wizards moved in disciplined formations, fortifying the defenses.
Protective wards shimmered in the air as enchantments were laid down layer by layer, interwoven like a great invisible work of art. Combat medics from various nations had set up a dedicated triage station, where the wounded from the last battle still recovered, their injuries treated with potions and spellwork.
At the heart of it all, Khufu stood at the pyramid's entrance, overseeing a new line of defenses—trenches reinforced with magical barriers, and runic stones being placed in the sand to deter teleportation. ICW enforcers drilled with their wands in precise, practiced movements, their silver emblems glinting under the sun. No one would be caught unprepared this time.
Far from the arid heat of Egypt, another anchor point was undergoing its own transformation. The sheer scale of the Grand Canyon had once made it seem impossible to defend, but now teams of American wizards had risen to the challenge.
A grand illusion had been cast, bending light and perception so that Muggle hikers and tourists would see nothing but untouched wilderness. Beneath the illusion, however, a network of wards pulsed, forming an invisible dome over the area. Wizards in dark robes patrolled the canyon's rim, while others carefully carved protective glyphs into the rock walls, binding them with age-old enchantments.
At the base of the canyon, hidden from view, Aurors and battle wizards tested new countermeasures—barriers that could hold against divine magic, spellwork designed to disrupt the ethereal forms of gods and demons. Fortifications weren't just physical; they were strategic, designed to break the enemy's momentum before they could even reach the Anchor Point.
On the misty, storm-wracked cliffs of Minami Iwo Jima, Japanese wizards were reinforcing the hidden temple where another Anchor Point lay. Mahoutokoro's finest had been dispatched alongside international specialists, their expertise focused on weaving layers of protective spells into the rock itself.
Kazuki, the Headmaster of Mahoutokoro, personally oversaw the effort. He moved with precision, directing teams to etch kanji into stone tablets—each one binding an ancient protection that would ensure no entity could approach without being repelled.
Nearby, a group of witches and wizards practiced aerial combat on enchanted swords, testing maneuverability in case the enemy attempted an airborne assault.
From the mountains of Nepal to the frozen tundras of Siberia, the magical world was bracing itself. Enforcers, Aurors, Curse Breakers, and War Mages gathered at each Anchor Point, preparing for the inevitable.
Morpheus watched it unfold, a ghost of a smile playing on his lips. They were finally moving. The world was finally waking up to the war that had been looming for centuries.
But even as defenses were laid, even as armies formed, Morpheus knew one thing to be certain they were still unprepared.
Albus stood behind Morpheus as the man stepped onto the balcony of the headmaster's office, "You know if you told us where the anchor in England is we could be helping set up defenses."
Morpheus didn't respond immediately as he looked off into the night sky, "Do not worry it is already heavily fortified. Tell me how is your light faction reacting to having to work with the dark faction and even former death eaters?" he asked while taking a bottle of wine from his pouch
Albus sighed, "Just another thing I'm worrying about, the wounds are too fresh. They will never work together."
"And the students how are they fairing?"
"Scared of course, parents have pulled their children from school already but many haven't. The castle is well protected from an assault." Albus replied while he took his place next to Morpheus on the balcony, "Pour me a glass."
Morpheus smirked while doing so, "There is a Wizengamot coming up is there not?" he asked
Albus nodded while taking a sip of his whine, "Indeed, it is in two days."
"Good, hopefully everything can be sorted out then."
"We can only hope."
