At the end of the performance, the director, equally thrilled, approached Duanmu Ai and lavishly praised her acting.
"In my opinion, you perfectly recreated that historical Lord Angel!"
"Did I?"
"Absolutely."
The director nodded emphatically.
"The dramas and films praising that Lord Angel have been numerous over the years, but I think they've got the approach wrong. Aside from the very first documentary, which was somewhat authentic, all other works have overly focused on depicting Lord Angel's compassion. I'm not saying that's wrong, but emphasizing that side too much, doesn't it make us humans look like weak, helpless infants needing a mother's care?"
At this point, the director spread his hands in a gesture of helplessness.
