Ginny, though relieved, felt a slight pang of anxiety. She knew her uncle's idea of spoiling the duck might involve a bit too much indulgence, but it was still a better option than getting caught smuggling an illegal settler back to the huts.
They began their walk back to the campsite, the rhythmic sound of waves providing a peaceful backdrop. The sky was a blanket of stars, sparkling brightly against the dark canvas of night. Ginny walked in the middle, her thoughts a swirling mix of relief, unease, and a bit of anxiety about how much her friends might pry into her personal life after meeting her flamboyant uncle.
