The Qinling Mountains traverse the northern part of Xia Country, stretching from east to west, with dozens of subsidiary mountain ranges.
The westernmost reaches directly connect to the end of the Kunwu Mountain Range, which is not only the starting point of the Kunwu Mountain Range but also the foundation of many Buddhist sects.
To the east of the Qinling, at the border between the Northeastern Four Provinces and the North Five Provinces, sits one of the Four major Taoist sects, the Quanzhen Dao Sect.
Yet even so, the complex terrain of the Qinling makes it one of the preferred hiding places for all kinds of demons in Xia Country, second only to the most mysterious Ten Thousand Great Mountains in the northwest of the country.
