When Ren told Haruki where the body was found, he asked if they could inform the police. Haruki glanced at his grand-uncle who brought everything upon himself and agreed to let the police investigate it themselves.
Without hesitation, he brought out the contract signed by his granduncle and placed it on the table. He asked to have everything investigated.
"You have done wrong, this family will not protect you because we can't let the cancer spread further," Haruki announced.
"Have you lost your mind?" Haruki's granduncle asked him. "Don't you think all of these would affect the family? Do you think because you gave me up, the police will not hesitate to rope the entire family in with all the crimes? You're in for some surprises."
Haruki did not respond to the man's question but gestured to them to leave. They remained seated but Ren had the other men take them away.
