A decrepit creature could be seen hundreds of kilometers east of the city. The creature was at least three meters tall.
It looked like a gorilla with black skin and gray fur. Green slime oozed from all over its body, making anyone nearby feel sick. However, there was no one nearby, luckily, because the creature would have killed them all.
Around it, everything decayed. Trees became skeletal stumps or were stripped bare by a foul-smelling fog.
Bushes withered into dead twigs that fell over one another, and the decay spread to the surroundings like ripples in water.
The air grew fetid with rot as the thaid spread the gas around and left behind a weird goo made of the corpses of the monsters that were unfortunate enough to die inside of it.
The creature staggered through the forest until it came to an open area. Like everywhere else it went, the ground here rotted.
The grass started dying beneath the creature's feet, becoming thinner and thinner until it completely vanished.
