The doctor and the major entered another lab, much larger than the previous one. They were greeted by a woman in a white lab coat similar to Doctor Derr's, though hers had many straps and buckles. As they approached, they started hearing something.
Inhuman screams echoed through the lab's white padded room. Their source was a sickly looking man whose skin bore a weird red tint, covered in cracks and warts that made him look like a monster spawned from hell. No one who saw him could bear the thought of sharing his fate.
His muscle bulged as he tried to escape the shackles that were bracing him. Still, despite many tries, he could not free himself. He could only give in to his most primal instinct: to scream.
The scientists knew what happened to him. It started with him going progressively mad in the two weeks following the incident he was involved in, which decimated his entire team, the Red Hawks.
