After Erik left the room and the parents arrived where his friends were resting, Amber told everyone to stay silent about Erik's involvement.
They understood what the woman said and refrained from saying anything regarding the fact that the five men went there to kidnap Erik.
Though the parents were angry, they weren't going to withdraw their children from the Red Palace. Doing so would put their children's futures at risk, especially since military service was mandatory. Leaving now would only create problems for them later.
Once the parents left, Amber gathered with Floyd, Gwen, Anderson, Aaron, Mikey, Martha, and Benedict to discuss what happened.
Amber briefed them on the situation and told them what had happened after they lost consciousness.
"So, in the end, Nathaniel won?" Anderson asked. It was clear he was disappointed. He was going to win a brain-stimulating serum not even five hours ago, and now he lost the opportunity because of some random dudes.
