Chapter 430 - Arc 11.30: To Blestemate part 2

Grabbing the book, Dumnorix activates his legacy and says, "Let's get this started!"

After his legacy is applied to the book, Dumnorix hands it over to everyone, and reading it, Orb says, "Endless Messiah, Scorpio, you're special awareness is also heightened."

Abbán then uses the book, and after he activates his legacy on it, and then Orb reads, "Guardian Messiah Aquarius, your body is more resistant to poisons."

As everyone sees this, Orb throws the book into the air, and then he says, "What's with all these messiah Legacies! Maple, Iancu, Dumnorix, Abbán, what even is this!"

Abbán, catching the book, says, "You missed one, Inversion Messiah Gemnini."

"Huh?"

As they all move to the book, the book, Maple says, "Doesn't this sound like Anto and Mime's powers?"

They all turn to Suzuka, who hides behind Cyrus, and she says, "They asked me to allow them to use it."

"Why didn't you tell me?"

"Because they said a beautiful lady like myself was an adult they could trust to keep a secret."

Willow, Maple, Iancu, and Orb say, "So easy."

"I am not easy!" Suzuka says as Cyrus holds her back.

Willow turns to Iancu and says, "Are any of these legacies well-known people or even a tribe of people? Because it is rather strange for all of these legacies that share a similar trait to be here."

Sighing, Iancu says, "How could I know?"

Maple, moving up to him, says, "But you know all about the fall of the beastkin."

"Because my father educated me only on what is commonly known. Outside of craftsmanship, I don't really have an especially deep understanding of history. But in all honesty, one thing I can say is that 9 legacies gathered in one place is far more irregular."

Abbán says, "Is it really that rare on the other side world?"

Orb asks, "Was it common for beastkin to manifest Legacies? It seems only one had a legacy back during the beastkins' prime."

Dumnorix adds, "We had a least one Legacy per generation. Over the last 300 years, before that we had one so infrequently it was a big surprise."

Willow says, "That's a large increase in the appearance of legacies?"

Suzuka says, "Umm. In Seirei over the last 100 years, there has been a large increase as well."

Iancu sighs, saying, "Worldwide legacies have increased across the board, and now a giant number of people are getting both knowledge and power from people far stronger and deadlier than them. It is one of the reasons my father said that wars around the world have been heating up. The information from lost eras of history, and the abilities of advent, can allow for exponential growth, and people are willing to go to war to get their hands on these pieces. While I don't know the reason, I could probably be simply a population thing; more people being born increases the inheritance of legacies. And for the messiah Legacies, there could just be a giant number of them. I know no historical source famously associated with them, but even with Cordum's efforts, the vast majority of our history only goes back till the end of the 2nd cycle of history, not the 1st."

While everyone talks about Iancu's information, Maple says, "Thanks for the enlightenment. You're really smart."

Abban, holding the book, says, "Hey guys, did any of you notice the way the soul book lays out information?"

Pointing the book to everyone, Abbán says, "For those of us with the Messiah Legacies the information is very neatly laid out, and our abilities are explained in the saviours song, but for Orb, Cyrus, and Suzuka their legacies are all sporadically placed everywhere, and each of them uses the Heroes song instead."

Suzuka, from behind Cyrus, says, "A soul book uses the information from the soul of the legacy, so it may mean that all three of our legacies are from a post-2nd human beastkin war world."

Orb, grabbing the book, says, "The handwriting for the Messiah legacies is extremely similar as well, but for the other three, it is all different. This handwritten for mine is especially similar to how Setanta wrote in its classes."

"It's rather fancy," Maple adds.

With a prideful look, Orb says, "What did you expect? Setanta was already a royal member of the high king's family. He worked very hard and practised all the time in every single aspect of his life."

As Orb rambles on, Willow covers his mouth and says, "Orb, we don't have another 5 hours for you to rant about Setanta."

Calming down, Orb nods in agreement, and then Dumnorix, standing up, says, "Hey, have any of your legacies ever talked to you before?"

Orb and Cyrus put up their hands, and the rest don't.

Looking Orb says, "It seems all you messiah Legacies aren't really communicating with your legacies."

Maple, putting her hand up, says, "What about Suzuka?"

Orb stepping behind Suzuka says, "It's not like this little dumpling listens even if it would speak."

Suzuka gets angry, but Orb plants his chin on her head, keeping her down, and then he puts his finger up to his lip, shushing all of them as his hair turns black. Everyone understanding Orb's intentions skips over this, and Dumnorix adds, "That all really sounds chaotic, but chaos is the best moment for a hero to rise and take the stage!"

Abbán says, "Before you think of raising, maybe you should understand how the world works."

Elia, working in the room, says, "So I will educate you idiots."

Iancu, with a disgusted face, says, "Why are you here?"

"Your daddy sent me here to make sure none of you idiots say something out of line."

Orb, holding his hand up, says, "I want to do it."

"We can't let you do it. Your bias will only give a positive spin on everything."

"But everyone is so great!"

"Just quiet down and go to the corner. I will get you a treat later."

"I AM NOT A DOG!"

Willow, grabbing Orb, says, "Calm down," while rubbing his head.

With a smile of victory, Elia looks at everyone and says, "Gather around. All of you here except Orb and Iancu are rather unformed, so I will give a rundown of the current situation geographically."

As everyone gathers around, Elia places a map in front of everyone, and says, "There are five Continents as you can see. The left one is the dragon continent of Avesta, the one on the right is Enotitia, the one in the centre is Terrafide, to the north we have Victoria, and east we have Molstoria.

Terrafide is physically connected up north to Victoria, and Victoria is connected to Enotita, but aside from that, they are all far apart.

Terrafide is the smallest among the four continents, which is due to the fact that it is connected to Victoria, and that some of its western mass around where the kingdom of Jedidah used to be is destroyed."

"Destroyed?" Abbán asks

"It happened a long time ago due to a conflict between Avesta and Terrafide, but that is even older than the Heroes song. Now, Terrafide, as a continent, is normally called a jagged monster. If you stare at it long enough, it can look like what you would get after you splashed a bunch of beasts' blood into a puddle all together.

Due to this, as you can see it has many islands coming out of it, but only in the east and south, such as the islands that hold both Elpída, and Seirei, there are also some islands in the west but they don't matter or are uninhabitable due to attacks from the dragons.

Now starting from the northwestern edge, and moving directly til the centre of Terrafide is the great sea of Genesis, which is directly connected to the city of Cordum at the northwesternmost edge of the continent. The sea stops and forms a massive lake, that have multiple different rivers that move out throughout Terrafide, and is commonly used as a means for transporting goods. Using this system, one could technically move anywhere within Terrafide, though due to border patrols, this isn't allowed.

Bringing us to the next important information, the ruling power of Terrafide. Now, for most of its history, Terrafide has been rather stable, no control had more power than the other, and Cordum used the adventures guild as a tool of diplomacy to interfere with other countries' attacks against one another, keeping this steady. Combined with many countries adopting Lupas as their currency, Terrafide had entered an age of peace.

But long story short were two incidents, one 1000 years ago, and another 600 years which shattered the stability of the continent and from the two incidents, the kingdoms within Terrafide started to absorb power, and chaos ensued. Certain countries prospered, others fell and were replaced by different governing systems, but from that, all 4 managed to gain strength, and took control of their respective regions of the continent.

First is Cordum of the east, which kept most of its power, and using its immense economic and social power via the adventures guild, managed to essentially bind many of the countries in the eastern area together. In exchange for their entering many different binding contracts with Cordum, the cost of adventurers' missions in their countries is completely paid off by Cordum, which allowed them to outsource many issues.

Second to the west is Avalon, the country of knights. Around 600 years ago, they ruled almost all of Terrafide, Enotita, and some of Molstoria, and despite their empire collapsing, they still hold giant amounts of power, and due to their monopoly on spirit metal, which grows in the lands they are still one of the greatest military forces in the world. Located around the north, specifically northwest of the centre of the Sea of Genesis.

Third is Gevurah, it's one of the oldest countries in the world, dating all the way back to King Charles Animus' reign, and the oldest home of both the church of the messiah and the church of Lux. They have an immense historic claim, being the organisation that took in Charles when he started his journey. They lost lots of power after Fimbulwinter had frozen, but slowly built up power over the centuries and around 600 years ago started to seriously involve itself with world politics. Located southeast of the Centre of the Sea of Genesis. They currently have control over a large amount of the central west land of Terrafide that used to be under Jedidiah's control centuries ago."

Abbán, looking at us, says, "That's the kingdom that destroyed Skydust and made all those kids homeless?"

Orb with pitch black hair says, "Yeah. I have heard they have been expanding rapidly recently, starting wars again and again."

Maple, with some fright, says, "If they are closely tied with Charles Animus, doesn't that mean they are very anti-beastkin?"

Elia says with a smile unbefitting the situation, "Spot on. They are mainly the reason, despite all the forced pregnancies, you won't find any beastkin descendants in Terrafide."

Maple, and Willow pull back in freight, and Orb's hair because an uncomfortable mixture of black and yellow, so Dumnorix says, "Regardless! We beastkin have stepped on a new path with our new human friends, so if they reject us and try to start trouble, the greatest in all creations shall destroy their hate and befriend them."

Orb with a bright smile says, "EXACTLY!"

Both Orb and Dumnorix start to dance with happiness, and then Elia says, "Gevurah has by far the biggest military on the continent, and is almost completely economically independent of Cordum as well. Compared to your tiny country that can barely grow a couple of vegetables."

Both their moods drop, and then Avram walking in says, "Everyone, come look outside, where here."

Everyone existing on the ship stares outside, and there they see the sun has turned red, and the sky dyed purple, and looking at it, Orb says, "What is this?"

Avram, with a smile, says, "It's my home, and place of origin for most of the nightmares of the world, the cursed country Blestemate."
