Harry grabbed the arm of Nina and pulled her closer, the latter whimpered in pain.
"What did you say, Reina's pregnant?" Harry asked in shock.
Nina nodded. Harry let go of her and staggered back.
"It's true brother. We just found about it and they were going to the hospital for further check up when the attack happened and she was abducted". Giselle explained.
After hearing the news about Reina's pregnancy from the mouth of Giselle and Nina, his heart felt a series of undescribable emotions. He can't believe it. He's going to be a father. Ignoring Nina's pleading cries, he walked away from them feeling an even more desperate need to find Reina as soon as possible.
Harry walked outside to the quiet garden and to the swing where Reina likes to sit. However, as he approached closer, he saw the back of a tall man standing there and seemingly waiting for him. Frowning and with a vigilant gaze, Harry walked closer and couldn't help but asked, "Who are you?"
Upon hearing the voice from behind him, the person slowly turned around to face him. Harry's eyes flashed with surprise but his calm demeanor showed no reaction.
"YOU?!"
."What are you doing here?" He asked calmly.
Axel looked at Harry for the first time and his eyes surged with rage. This was the man whom she likes? The two men sized each other up, each with his own thoughts.
"You know me?" Axel asked, wearily. Harry cleared his throat and nodded. He knows everything and everyone in Reina's life.
"She told you about me?" Axel chuckled.
"Why are you here?" Harry asked again.
Shedding off his nonchalant facade,, Axel's expression turned cold and angry as he glared at Harry as though he'll attack him.
"Don't you know what had happened. You took advantage of my sister's weakness and brought her here to be eaten alive by wild wolves. Do you really think you and your clan are so untouchable?" Axel spoke angrily.
Only God knows how he felt when he heard of Reina's abduction. It was like his world was falling apart. He had been working nonstop with the help of Alan to find the whereabouts of the abductors. Alan had informed him about the return of Harry so he decided to meet him up.
With a determined gaze, Harry promised. "I'll find her no matter what. l won't let anything happen to her. I'll protect her". However Axel sneered at his words.
"Protect her?. Who can you protect her from? From your wife? Your grandmother? Or your uncle?". Hearing him mention his uncle, Harry's eyes flashed with a cold glint and asked with a hard voice,"What do you know?.
Axel didn't answer him but said, "Harry Zelkowicz, if anything happened to Reina I'll really not let you off".
Axel walked away from there leaving behind Harry who watched him leave with a cold gaze. It's not an understatement to say that the influence of the Zelkowicz family can really cover the sky with one hand and no one dares to threaten or go against them.
Yet Axel didn't seem afraid of him and seems to be aware of the hidden struggles in his family. Not many influential people know anything about the existence of this illegitimate uncle much less an ordinary person like Axel being aware of it.
That person doesn't seem to be simple. Harry clenched his fist tightly, suppressing his emotions. He took out his phone to call someone and uttered coldly ,"Find out everything about Axel Lyle. I want to know everything".
City Hospital
Sasha slowly regained consciousness. She opened her eyes to find herself lying in a spacious VIP ward. Her body was attached with tubes. On the sofa laid a woman asleep. Sasha tried to move and couldn't help but cried out in pain. Her soft voice woke up the lady sleeping on the sofa who upon seeing her awake, quickly rushed over to her.
"Oh thank God you're finally awake. Sasha you scared me so much. I'll call the doctor now".Malia blabbers, looking both worried and relief that she was awake. As she tried to go out to call the doctor, Sasha grabbed her wrist to stop her from leaving.
"Don't leave. Give me water. I'm thirsty"She said, her voice hoarse.
Malia nodded and quick went to pour her a glass of water. She brought it to her to drink. After Sasha finished drinking, Malia put the glass back and rushed to her side, grabbing her hand with a worried expression.
"Sasha, what happened to you? How did this happen?" She asked. Sasha stared at her and smiled creepily.
"I did it to myself. That way no one will suspect me of what happened. That slut Reina is finally gone from my life. Harry is all mine again".
Malia's eyes widen in shock and stuttered, "Y...you.. you.. orchestrated the attack?" "Are you crazy? Do you know what you've done? If your husband finds out about your involvement in this matter, nothing will be able to save you from his wrath. What do we do now?". Malia berated Sasha, she was panicking and terrified of the consequences.
"Do l look afraid to you?. Nothing will happen because no one will know that l have anything to do with this. All this happened because that bitch is simply ill-fated. I only abided by God's will to take her away". Sasha said, completely delusional. Malia looked at her with fearful eyes.
