The old werewolf's gaze sized up Sebastian and Charlotte, finally resting on Charlotte with a frown:
"Luf, we'll set aside the matter of this kinsman brother of yours for now, but what's the deal with this little tyke?"
"Old Logan, although Resa is young, she already has considerable strength and can work," Luf answered, pretending not to understand the accusatory meaning in the old werewolf's eyes, deliberately answering the question lightly.
Old werewolf: ...
"You know that's not what I am asking..."
He said, frowning.
"Old Logan, Resa insisted vehemently on her own. She wants to do some work, too, and besides, aren't there other kinfolk about the same age as her?" Luf gestured toward the dirty little werewolf in the group.
The old werewolf was suddenly at a loss for words.
He sighed and shook his head:
