"Tap tap tap," Charles's fingers gently rapped on the sea chart, his brows furrowed as he looked at the selected island's location.
The island wasn't far, forming an equilateral triangle with Tianshui Island and Hope Island.
With the cruising time, Charles could feel that his crew were becoming uncomfortable with the oppressive atmosphere at sea, and their spirits were overly tense.
Having not sailed for a full three years, his crew felt similarly, and three years had made them somewhat unfamiliar with the sea. The closest island could provide a means of escape should something go wrong.
"Hopefully there's a clue on this island..." Charles knew this was a fond wish; in Earth Sea, beauty was scarce, and despair was the norm.
"Squeak," Lily entered the Captain's Room with a group of multicolored subordinates, her color today a fluorescent green, clutching Charles's phone in both hands.
"Mr. Charles, the mirror on your phone has gone black."
