Larcade could not even suppress the vengeful emotions in his heart and had nearly succumbed to irrationality. Had he not had the opportunity to gain much-needed clarity from this person—something he likely would not have realized amidst the emotional turmoil surrounding him—he might have taken the wrong path.

As for power, Core Apprentice August may not have been as strong as Larcade's father or mother, but his potential far surpassed theirs. This was someone destined to achieve great exploits in the future. Walking alongside such a person was not a bad idea at all.
