Ling Momo was startled and quickly pushed the door open, then she saw Chen Wanru and Jian Chenxi staring at each other face to face.
Jian Chenxi was drunk, only feeling that the scene before her was a blur. She couldn't tell who was who and blurted out without thinking, "Are you sick?"
Seeing this, Ling Momo quickly stepped forward to hold Chen Wanru back, whispering softly, "Sister Wanru, let it go. She's drunk!"
"Let it go?" Chen Wanru laughed coldly as if she heard a joke, "I really can't let this go."
After saying that, she pushed Ling Momo away, extended her hand, and, without another word, slapped Jian Chenxi across the face.
Chen Wanru's slap was fierce, and the sound was sharp.
Ling Momo hadn't regained her balance from being pushed when she heard the slap. Instinctively turning her head, she saw Jian Chenxi's cheek turn red.
Both Ling Momo and Jian Chenxi were stunned.
