Haharim: the Ice Witch's wrath
-
Supreany instantly began to feel the warm liquid making its way down her stomach. She gasped and let out another yelp as the sword was swiftly removed. The color fled from her face and sharp pains from the sword's magic still zipped through her body.
She instinctively raised her hand to the wound. All the while it was as though she could not breathe. She began to feel lightheaded as she fell to her knees, finally releasing her breath and gasping once more. Such terrible pains were shooting through her body that the world seemed to be spinning and the ground beneath her became unstable. Then, from nowhere, there came arms wrapping about her. She raised her eyes to see Cecealye,
"Supreany ... Supreany!" Cecealye seemed to be yelling, but she seemed so far away, and Supreany's eyes glazed over.

Everyone could feel their heart stop when Supreany cried out. They turned to see the Ice Witch standing behind her, only to watch her wisp away, disappearing into the air. Before they could take another breath, a great racket was made behind them as Orckle was picked up with an unnatural strength and thrust through a number of trees.
Ean had his sword and dagger pulled and Blaizen, his guns. The moment that proceeded thereafter was soundless and was thought to last forever. Just then, a great maddening laugh came over the air.
"You pathetic little humans are all the same ... weak and insignificant."
Their eyes were darting around, and then Ean realized it. He could feel her in the air. When she would wisp by or draw close, the air would get heavy and moist, giving a bit of a chill as she circled them.
"Which one, which one ... My original thought was to kill the rest of you first and make her watch you die. But now, knowing how you feel about her, I think it would be much more fun to kill her first instead."
Ean's eyes shot over to Cecealye and Supreany. Cecealye ... Ean felt the air around him become a sharp cold. He shook his head. She's here to kill Cecealye!
His pulse quickened. "Cecealye, leave! Run!"
"What!"
"Just go, now!" he screamed.
She laid Supreany back down and took a sharp breath as tears began to form in her eyes. "I'm sorry," she whispered.
"Leave!" His voice seemed to strain.
She scrambled to her feet and took off out of sight.
"I guess you didn't like that idea. No matter; she will die soon enough."
"You, witch, show yourself. Or are you too cowardly?" he shouted at her.
Just then, Ean began to feel the air behind him change. He turned just in time to raise his sword to block hers. Just as he did, her face became saturated with the acid-like substance from Blaizen's guns, and Ean plunged his sword into her chest. But something was wrong.
The substance on her face froze, cracked and fell off before he could finish his blow and remove his sword. A sharp cold shot up the blade and into Ean's hand, causing excruciating pain to shoot up his arm, rendering his hand useless, and he let go of his sword. She removed it and tossed it to the ground as though it were nothing.
She snatched Ean by the neck, raising him into the air. Instantly, he began to feel that same sharp cold going into his neck, and with his last breath he let out a great cry. His neck was then completely frozen through. He kicked and jolted in her hand, and she was enjoying watching him die slowly when, all of the sudden, she got pegged in the head with a stone.
She turned to see Blaizen standing a couple of feet away with a handful of rocks, and she tossed Ean to the ground as though he were a ragdoll. He continued to kick and squirm on the ground, rubbing his hands on his neck, trying to make it de-thaw. It seemed to no avail, and his vision began to blacken.
A smile widened on the witch's face as she approached Blaizen. He could see that Ean did not have much time left. He dropped a couple of his stones and shot her in the face again, blinding her just momentarily. With an incredible and almost impossible speed, he shot over to Supreany, snatching up one of her daggers and ripping off the bottom half of her shirt, soaking up her warm blood and darting over to Ean.
The Ice Witch had cleared her face once more and started to come at him, and he shot her in the face again. He knew he only had seconds, but he also knew that would be enough. He took Supreany's dagger and began to make strategic cuts on Ean's neck, then tightly wrapped the blood-soaked garment around it.
The warm substance began to thaw his neck freeing up his esophagus and his arteries allowing air and blood flow to continue as normal. But Blaizen's time had run out. The witch bolted at him in anger. He rose to run away, but he was a second too late, and she knocked him down.
"You're fast, but not fast enough. Now you will die for your feeble effort."
He began to notice the air around her condensing, forming sharp ice crystals. As she looked down at him for just that moment, he got a good look at those icy eyes. No doubt they were considered very beautiful once, but the eyes he now saw were hollow, without any reason or life.
A smile widened on her face. "Are you ready little boy to feel the wrath of my full power?"
"And what power do witches and slaves truly have? For that is all you really are." The woman's voice was smooth.
Blaizen looked over to see a rather beautiful woman standing next to Cecealye. Her skin was very pale, and her hair was so dark it was almost black. She was clothed in a deep blue dress, while her eyes were an equally rich blue.
The icy figure recoiled and hissed, "Igna."
Cecealye found herself shoved to the ground by Igna as a handful of icy razors zoomed by them. A new tone came over the guardian; her dress began to rage about her,
"What was the price you were paid for your soul?"
"Enough," the Ice Witch hissed as she sent another ten icy shards darting at Igna, piercing harshly into the woman. Igna stepped back, absorbing them into her body.
"Your reign here has lasted long enough." With that, balls of water came rushing from Igna's hands, through the air, encompassing the witch. She shrieked one last time, one that echoed across the mountains, for her agony was great. With her last breath, she looked down at Igna.
"If you kill me, it will not matter. She will merely die at another's hands." She then melted, and the water fell to the ground.
