Aelia asked curiously, lightly tapping her knuckle against the transparent film that blocked our descent.
"Then, it must be them who cast it."
She pointed downward, her fingertip aimed at a group below—figures staring up at us, expressions clouded in fear and... something else. Shock?
They were all unmistakably human—tamers, based on the monsters standing guard near them. I gave their faces a quick scan, hoping for recognition.
Nothing.
Not a single familiar face in the crowd. All of them were strangers.
A deep frown crept onto my face.
Back when my Sanctuary was active, I had literally seen everyone within Hargoth. Every last soul. Which meant—seeing unfamiliar people like this should've been impossible.
"Still, this barrier..."
Fatima murmured, fingers on her chin as she examined the translucent shield before us.
"It's strange. This... this is on par with Ansael's barrier."
