Standing inside the hut, Di Tou took a long breath and looked around for a moment before looking at the mostly unused straw bedding and letting out a low chuckle. While he was here on the trial grounds of the Selfless Pavilion, there wasn't any food provided, and even the accommodation was of a low standard, consisting of only simple straw to make up a place to sleep. Naturally, in a rush for time, Di Tou hadn't paid it much mind, and simply spent less time eating and sleeping, simply taking out a few pieces of flatbread when he was hungry, and meditating or working through the nights.
Although the experience of sinking his Spiritual Sense into the well water wasn't exactly relaxing, with practice came familiarity, and with familiarity came comfort. Once he was comfortable, naturally he could use it as half a form of rest. Sort of like aimlessly scrolling on the internet. Some might call it exhausting and tiring, others could do it till six in the morning and only feel energised…
