When Di Tou arrived at the river, he indeed saw Mu Di Bai leaning below a tree, a tall hat covering his face, and a short bamboo rod clamped between his arm and leg, reaching out into the water with a slight piece of twine. With his current eyesight, Di Tou could easily tell that not only was the line not baited, there wasn't even a hook! Yet astoundingly, in a bucket by Mu Di Bai's side there were three thick fish.
The three fish were indeed astounding, not only because Mu Di Bai was fishing without a hook, but because this river was really just a relatively large stream, and this relatively large stream… simply didn't carry fish of such a size! At best they would be larger tadpoles and fat frogs, where would one find such large trout and bass?
Chuckling in his head feeling like he had seen through Mu Di Bai's trick, Di Tou walked over and leaned against the other side of the tree. "Old Mu, there's a trader in town. If you're done fishing, do you want to take a look."
