After forcefully cycling the Qi in his body many times and seeing no result, Di Tou could only reluctantly give up for the moment. Not because he ran out of willpower or wasn't willing to try anymore, but rather because the current him was in a severely injured state, to begin with and hadn't rested properly for quite a long while either. It was only the shock from the pain and the heart wrench from losing all his belongings that had kept him up this long.
As he failed time after time again, expending more of his energy as he did so, Di Tou eventually once again fell unconscious into a fitful rest.
