Well of course, Di Tou was trying to recover, not get a pay check…
All in all, Di Tou's daily schedule didn't change very much.
The main difference was that before setting out to gather materials and craft brooms, Di Tou would first quickly use his Void Returning Power to destroy and then rebirth that same piece of thigh meat. After doing so, although he was very tired, it was still reasonable enough that he could do ordinary work like putting the brooms together!
After all, no matter what, Di Tou was a Void Returning Stage cultivator, even when he was tired, he could preform superhuman feats, much less something he could do while sitting down on the ground… or lying down and twitching as the pain assailed him.
It was just like how a normal person, even while sick and dead tired could still drag themselves to the bathroom and shove a bit of food in their mouths.
