In any case, other than that one strange incident, practicing went quite well. Although Di Tou hadn't yet successfully managed to 'return' to a world other than the one he was originally in, he could vaguely feel the walls constraining him to loosen, and he could also feel slight variations in the difference in resistance each time.
Based on Di Tou's understanding, although separate worlds were in separate spaces which meant that there was no empirical way to measure distance, different worlds still had different relations and connections to one another. Thus, the resistance he felt should be based upon how connected or distance these different worlds were.
A simple example was that all of these worlds were connected to the world of cultivation via Spatial Fractures. This meant that even if they didn't interact in any other way, this singular link made the worlds related.
