Sinking into dreamland, DI Tou let out a faint sigh as his breathing steadied and his expression relaxed. In this empty world, there were no sounds at all, it was truly and utterly silent. He didn't even have the sound of his own breath to accompany him, for there was no air for sound to travel through!
For the first time in a long while, Di Tou sunk into a dreamland, the first thing he dreamed of was home.
Not the home in the Three Brothers Village, or the Academy, but home home, the dingy little apartment he had lived in with his parents when he was just a young boy….
Looking up, Di Tou realised he was sitting at the couch in front of the living room table, a book of practice questions in front of him, and a plate of melon to his right, with five toothpicks all stabbed into the same piece of melon….
Without thinking too much, Di Tou intuitively felt that that was his doing…
