Mia and Alexander stepped into the banquet hall at the same time.
Their entry caught the attention of quite a few people. Naturally, nobody was especially interested in the Alexander; what turned heads was the beautiful Mia.

All around, the guests exchanged hushed comments. The already-bustling room became even livelier the moment Mia showed up. People holding wine glasses gathered around her, eager to make an acquaintance.
