Misty flinched at the screams that were emanating from the twins. You would have thought they were part of a cheesy haunted house. Still, at least they were no longer approaching each other. In their anger and need for revenge against the woman who, in their minds at least, stole their men, she had become the target. Of course, since they were heading to her, it was inevitable that they would still meet, but she would take every extra step they gave her to delay the end.
She continued to push her mana into the mana stream. It filled the courtyard, and the dire pressure began to lift. Looking around, the sinister glow was transforming into a gentle light. The twins seemed not to notice until her mana reached their stones.
