Chapter 9 - Muay thai 101

Stellam nodded to himself as he looked at the bloody scene, he was so proud of himself. He had properly humbled the masses, maybe in manner which was far too violent. But Stellam felt no guilt, guilt was for mentally and emotionally stable people.

You know, the people who actually care about what society thinks of them.

He was satisfied, but that didn't mean he could just not finish his meal. Think about the asian parents that would beat him for not eating all his rice. That's what humans are in the realm of war, rice. Common, tasteless, but good with a few addons.

He looked at the woman that had pissed herself, such a barbarian, can't even take a bit of bloodshed. He could never understand how people couldn't handle chaos. Death is inevitable anyways, why be scared of death caused by a human?

He slowly stowed his weapons, if he was going to beat such an adventurer, he would do it arrogantly. Mostly because of the other guy's little tinging that Stellam had to do it, because he wanted to test something.

And as such, Stellam started to think about what martial art he wanted to use today 'Muay thai, teakwondo, boxing, karate, silat... Let's go with muay thai, those flying kicks and elbow strikes are cool.'

He went to the woman, and picked her up by the throat. He raised her up, and pushed her back "Entertain me for a moment or two, maybe you'll win. Hard maybe though."

He waited for a few moments, but then saw no attempts at retaliation or anything of the sort. He was confused, if someone was so arrogant, then how'd they fall so low? He thought for another moment, recalling his moment of realization that he was being attacked in a manner of reputation by arrogant manchildren.

And realized, that the woman was already shaking in her boots the moment she saw him. He sighed "I was being nice and giving you a bit of face, for not being arrogant. But for you to not accept my grace, courting death!"

Stellam's sudden increase of volume, snapped Kanata from her PTSD caused stupor. But then she looked at him again, and she started to feel light headed.

Stellam smiled for a moment as he saw her getting up to fight, but she didn't "My dissapointment; Immeasurable." He started to reload the Empyrean sparks that were used in this little conflict "Oh, don't worry, I'll wait. Take your time," He said, words filled with sarcasm "I assure you, you have all the time in the world."

After finishing the process of loading his directed, hand-held, fire-grenades/claymores "Time's up, now to be the most equal person you possibly can be."

His feet slammed the floor as he made a small hop towards the woman, landing into a proper stance. One quite like the stance for boxing.

Kanata got quite the shock as Stellam twisted his hip as he directed his right-foot in an arch, landing on the upper-half of her leg, touching with the shin of the foot.

Unvoluntarily her leg started to fail on her, as a surprising amount of force hit her leg, and also shockingly not breaking her bones too.

This was planned by Stellam, if he just broke her leg right now, there wouldn't be any opportunity to patronize her "That's what you get for disrespecting this anscestor." He clicked his tongue, preparing a elbow strike to the face

but...

[New quest received]

[Martial ancestor I;

How could a proper ancestor not have descendants?! Cultivate the talent in front of you into a proper muay thai master!

Goal; Train 'Kanata' [Muay thai] to black-belt 1st dan mastery.

Reward; +5% , +1% ]

Stellam took a step back while touching his decrepit japan-blade, taking in the quest 'Talent? This crying mess?! But that boost... And I can call myself a 'Martial anscestor' without any lies or jokes if I do this...'

But if he wanted to do this properly, he needed to act... Of course not as loser, he would not hide his insanity and lack of morals. But all he would have to do was not try to kill her. Which was so easy, as long as she remained...

A non-arrogant, and not-annoying, pawn. And if she even adopted his superior moral compass of; 'Stellam's actions, thoughts and feelings are all moral, while anything contridicting them are evil and bad', he could see a bright future ahead of her as his personal assistant/unpaid intern.

He looked the scared Kanata's up and down, specifically towards the bone and muscle, trying to see if the talent came from bone-structure or something "Hmm... That's interesting.

Kid, what is your name?"

"...I-I-it's Kanata." She said while taking a few steps back, while regaining her grasp on the world around her, breating quickly.

"Kanata... Kanata..." Stellam repeated to himself, and then muttered to himself "That's a garbage name, I'll need to replace it..."

"You seem to have some talent in Muay thai, praise me as your anscestor and give me some face, and I shall be monagomous and teach you a small, small, very small amount of my secrets."

The woman paused at the sudden change of topic "-What?"

Stellam started to gnash his teeth as veins appeared on his face "You dare not give this anscestor face!? You are courting death!" He unsheathed his sword.

Kanata's breath quickened to a rapid and concerning pace "No, nonono! Please no!"

Suddenly Stellam's posture and body language changed, as if there were a lack of it "So you are the child the other is interested in, interesting."

Seraph had taken control again "You should probably bow with your head to the ground and call him you anscestor, and say 'This junior could not see mt tai! Please forgive me!' if you want to live after I leave."

"-What?" The crying mess was confused at the sudden change in tone from a emotionally filled voice to one lacking said emotion.

"You who does not comprehend the immensity of heaven and earth, you shall die!" Stellam returned with his signature weird phrases.

Kanata, the one with the bad name, did not know what to do, and instantly thought to the moment of emotionlessness. And...

A slam resounded in the area "This junior did not see mt. Tai! Please forgive me!"

First of all, Stellam was surprised that actually worked 'To easy', then he nodded after returning his blade to it's sheath.

"Good, good!" He said while clapping.

"Please forgive me ancestor!"

Stellam smiled under the hood and said joyfully "Good! This ancestor shall spare you! Be grateful. Now follow me! This ancestor shall help the younger generation with secrets of the dao!"

The moment Stellam turned around, Seraph took control again "Well, I should introduce myself. You may call me, instead of anscestor like the other, you may call me perfected one.

Now, since there's a quest... I'll give the other 1 out of every 24 hours to teach you... He'll be allowed to give examples while fighting due to ... Also, you won't be sleeping for the next 48 hours, got it?" Seraph couldn't allow one of those who would follow him around, to slow him down.

So; Uberman cycle for all! 'I dub thee: 'Uber-messaih'!' Stellam screamed mentally at Seraph..

Seraph mentally shrugged while mentally preping time-tables to tell to the mentally unstable Stellam.

While he was doing that, Kanata was following behind Seraph anxiously. Seraph didn't seem to even be bothered by the orc that was getting closer and closer.

Seraph had already heard the orc coming, but he was in a critical stage of nagotiation 'Don't work the pawn to dust, okay. Burn out is a thing for the masses.'

'But it's so much fun to watch someone have a mental breakdown though!' Stellam said, making a valid and professional complaint.

Seraph knew that Stellam liked his mental breakdown moments, but 'Mental breakdowns are inefficient wastes of time.'

'Objection!' Stellam shouted 'Your honor, there has been a precedent that counters that argument, made by the Vtuber that I hired and then helped through a mental breakdown, after which I was able to make her a far better worker than before! A mental breakdown makes a mind maluable, allowing for one to create the ideal lackey!'

'Over ruled! The process of rebuilding a pion's sanity has far too little of a margin for error, and has not yet been properly tested!'

'This can be our second data set then, we have the time anyways.'

'...Fine, work her to the bone, let only ash remain for all I care. Just finish the quest, got it?'

'Ye, got i'e, so le' go!'

Seraph decoded the message sent by Stellam as 'Yea, got it, so let's go!', and surrendered his body again.

Stellam quickly turned around and inspected the orc like an asian mom inspecting rice in the market "It's high noon!"

"I-It's actually somewhere around 5 o' clock."

Stellam ignored the arrogant disciple's words, she was but a fool, how could she know true art?

Now; Orc, it was an orc. But it was slightly unique actually; It had a big stick in it's hands, pretty uncommon for an orc "David vs goliath style, I'm david, you're the dead guy."

Now, Stellam had an audience, he would use the coolest, in his own oppinion, move of Muay thai. The knee strike.

So, Stellam calmly walked towards the orc.

Step by agonizing step, silently, if he kept talking, it would get boring quick.

It took a bit of deafening silence before the orc arrived at it's execution site.

The orc telegraphed a large downwards strike, it was to kill this puny creature, whatever it was, with a single strike!

"Though I respect your confidence, certain people shouldn't be triffled with." Stellam said in an uncharacteristically cold tone.

The moment the giant stick fell down, Kanata found it weird that the very violent person infront of her had yet to kill the orc, but she soon understood.

The stick was side-stepped with a spin, and right after it touched the ground Stellam already jumped off of it right towards the orc's chest.

From there, his foot landed on the beer belly of the humanoid creature far larger than any common man, and launched him upwards with his knee going at a trajectory right for the orc's jaw.

"But wait, there's more!"

Stellam's arms extended upwards in preperation for the blow.

Which right before it should've happened, pulled the orc's face down, allowing it to kiss his fast moving shin.

Now, if you mix this with all those stats, which were already beyond that of the common human male when he arrived, you could tell what happened.

"Now that's a lot of damage!" He said as he admired his handy work while the orc, whose chest he was standing apon, fell backwards due to a severe concussion, allowing dust to billow.

Seeing how bloody and messed up the orc's face was, Stellam knew "How about a little more?" He yelled, with a bit of madness as seasoning.

He walked up, and ruthlessly put his dagger into the orc's throat, then repeatedly stabbed it's face with surprising brutality, but still smoothly.

Stellam was happy "Young one," He said as Kanata stiffened up "That strike was a fundamental move of 'Muay thai', the heavenly art that shall be bestowed apon you." He had properly shown off his awesomeness in front of a live studio audience.

Seeing from the pawn's face of confoundment, Stellam was sure what he had done was the coolest thing ever to grace the future minion's eyes.

But it wasn't enough, he would scheme, he would ponder, and he would lie in wait for a sudden strike!

Seraph took control of the body that for a split-second had lost it's strings, and quickly walked over toward the other end of the orc, walking over it. When at about the mid-way point, he gave a quick crescent and then jumped.

The monster's body dissolved, and he calmly landed on the hard ground and picked up the magic stone that was a bit larger than those from the first floor.

Been a while since I last posted a chapter, well I'll tell you the wonderful reason why!

I didn't have any inspiration, meaning if I forced it out, the chapter would be swill compared to previous chapters.

But I had some, so here I am! Yay!
