Teuila was sitting on a bench that was opposite the field where Archer was using his magic to dig graves for the Aquarian villagers. She watched as the man she loved buried all one hundred and thirty people.
As she sat there, her mind wandered, absorbing the surreal scene before her. 'A king burying the dead?' she mused silently. 'Who could have imagined such a thing would come to pass in my lifetime?'
Archer spent hours making sure her people were respectfully put to rest, which made her heart race while muttering. ''So many have the wrong idea about you, but here you are, burying strangers you never knew, when most would have let them rot away.''
Following that, Teuila glanced around the ransacked village that was now just a memory and she remembered this place fondly. When she was a little girl, her family passed through her from the main port city further east.
'It was so full of life, but now it's dead,' she mused. 'I remember the people lining up to see us.'
